Common questions

Yes. To use Seravi and for organisations to send you notifications, you need to sign up and follow some channels.

No. As a Seravi user – a receiver of information – you do not need to buy anything. Seravi for Business and Enterprise is for organisations who send information, they do need to pay.

Seravi is a system that enables users to receive information from organisations. In one single easy-to-use app. Organisations (a company, association, government entity, etc) creates specific channels that they present on their “Organisation page” within the app. The user chooses what “channels” to “listen” to. When the organisation has important information to send out, they use Seravi to push this information to those listening to the applicable channel. Users get notifications – we call them “Avis” – in the Seravi app on their mobile device. Users can listen to an unlimited amount of channels, and toggle settings to customize how certain notifications are received.

Avis – notifications within the Seravi app – are given one of three levels:

Warning – The highest level. A Warning-Avi has time-sensitive and very important information that you need to read immediately. Examples include: tsunami-wanings, disease outbreaks, spreading fires, etc.

Caution – A Caution-Avi has important information that is somewhat time-sensitive. Probably not life-threatening, but you will want to read this message as soon as possible.

Information – An Information-Avi has information that is relevant to your life, but you do not need to read it straight away. This can be a message telling you about planned maintenance of the elevator in your apartment building, for example.

Use the search-bar at the top of the screen and search for things that are important to you. We recommend starting with government entities closest to you: your county, municipality, country, but also the local emergency services. Secondly we recommend finding organizations that affect your life: your landlord, place of work, school (your’s or your kid’s), daycare, gym, etc.

You sign up for Seravi and then listen to channels that are relevant to your life. When new information is shared from an organisation to a channel that you listen to, you will be notified immediately.

Yes. We take security seriously. Your account and content are protected. Also, you can ask to have all data we have stored on you to be sent to your e-mail. Just go to settings within the app.

Nothing. Seravi is free for users!

Organisations pay to use Seravi as the system where they easily push information to groups of people who have decided that said information is relevant to them.

Seravi for Business

The name we have given the accounts owned by organisations.

An organisation creates an Organisation Account within Seravi. This gives them a “page” within the app, that users can search for and where they then read about the organisation. It also allows the organization to have multiple channels that users can listen to. Channels can be very specific (like a specific class in a certain school) or very broad (like a county-wide emergency channel). Lastly, an organisation with a Seravi for Business account can use these channels to send Avis to the listeners of channels.

An organisation creates an Organisation Account within Seravi (Seravi for Business). The organisation can then give multiple users administrative access to the account. Users use their personal Seravi user-account (the one they listen to channels relevant to their lives), so there is no need for multiple user-accounts. The organisation gives users access to the Seravi for Business account, at one of the following levels:

Account Holder: The organisation is the Account Holder

Account Manager: The person/user within the organisation responsible for the organisational account (only one person/user).

Account Administrator: These users/people have access to all parts of the organizational account and can make changes to everything except billing and termination of the account.

Senders: These users/people have been given the right to send Avis using a specific channel within the organisation.

Not per Avi no. Only organisations with a paid organisation-account (Seravi for Business or Seravi for Enterprise) have the ability to send an Avi using the channels in their account.

Seravi for Enterprise

Seravi for Enterprise has all the Seravi features built in. We can also provide a white label solution (optional) for your organisation while maintaining the user experience and functionality from the ordinary Seravi App. With a white label app through Seravi for Enterprise you get access to Geotargeting, that means that you can select users based on their location and send information to them. Organisations using Seravi for Enterprise have full access to our API and dedicated support for new features within the Seravi for Enterprise solution. Seravi for Enterprise is used by large corporations, global aid-organisations, and government entities such as cities, municipalities, counties, regional emergency services, and so forth.

Easy. Seravi for Business gives you the possibility to send information within the Seravi app and use the features based on what service package you chosen and you don’t have access to geotargeting (only government can send out Geo Warnings within our Business Solution). Seravi for Enterprise have all our features built in and has the possibility of a White Label Solution, branded with you organisation. Both have support but the Enterprise solution has a dedicated developer team on standby for creating new features. These new features will also be included in the Seravi App, but it comes with a delay.
